Community Supported Living
Our supportive apartment program is a combination of housing and services intended as a cost-effective way to help people live more stable, productive lives. The goal of the program is to assist with transitioning clients to a level of less restrictiveness and assistance in managing symptoms to avoid a placement of greater restriction. This program is intended to be a pragmatic solution that assists clients to have better lives while reducing, to the extent feasible, the overall cost of care.
Those in need
This support is widely believed to work well for those who face the most complex challenges—individuals with serious, persistent issues that may include substance abuse, addiction or alcoholism, mental illness, or other serious challenges to a successful life.
Supportive apartment services can be coupled with such social services such as job training, life skills training, alcohol and drug abuse programs, community support services (e.g., child care, educational programs, coffee clutches), and case management to populations in need of assistance.
